Just because it’s snowing outside doesn’t mean you should be staying in! On today’s show we’ve got Kevin Thomas, your gay concierge and friend to all bears (and their admirers) to talk about what’s hot […]

  1. Jamie says:

Fun show. I love Kevin! You had a sexy bear just up the street and you didn’t invite me over? Come-on boys! 😉

  2. Rhea says:

It’s too bad Kevin didn’t stay long enough in Chicago to see him go from a regular bear to a panda bear, borrowing one of your outfits– you guys would have been a hit at the theatre! 🙂

  3. That would have been pretty funny!

  4. Faramir says:

    Ciao!
Just for fun you must know that the Italian title of the 1974 “Swept Away” movie is actually “Travolti da un insolito destino nell’azzurro mare d’agosto” (Swept away by an unusual destiny in August’s blue sea)… no wonder they shortened it!!!
It’s a pity that they took away the “blue” though… Fausto, it’s your color!!!

  5. Alex says:

I used to have the tapes of the Jungle Book where Eartha Kitt does the voice for the snake! I played them so much the tape player pulled the tape out. I’m definitely going to download it from audible.com! I haven’t heard it in ages. OH, and was the word you were trying to think of beatnik?

  6. PureeTofu says:

What’s funny with all these bear guests I keep hearing all the new categories.

I think I’m an otter, however, I date a slender hairless (somewhat shorter) guy.

Otherwise love hearing the Concierge of the World on the show!

  7. Kevin from the Hotel Mark Twain says:

    Faramir,

I knew the longer title too! I love Lina Wertmuller titles used to all be long:
The Blue Collar Worker and the Hairdresser in a Whirl of Sex and Politics, Summer Night, with Greek Profile, Almond Eyes and Scent of Basil and The End of the World in Our Usual Bed in a Night Full of Rain. I used to have a book of movie lists and one chapter was longest titles. I think the winner was “Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mana’s Hung You in the Closet and I’m Feeling So Sad.” Or maybe it was “Who is Harry Kellerman and Why Is He Saying Those Terrible Things About Me?” Barbara Harris is in both of those movies!

  8. RcktMan says:

This coming from “Kevin From The Hotel Mark Twain,” another long title! 🙂

Loved the show guys… Kevin is so much fun!!! I loved his banter with you guys… and having him in the actual studio was extra specially sweet.

I think I just missed you guys at the dim sum restaurant… 🙁 I’m craving some steamed balls. LOL 🙂

  9. cliff says:

Like Kevin, I took my girl friend to see Miss Saigon in London west end, that guy who played Chris was so good, he sang that most heart breaking song on stage while he was completely falling apart, spiting and bawling his eyes out all at the same time, it was an amazing performance, and while I was moved by it, my girl friend who happens to be an Asian cried the whole way through, perhaps it’s a cultural thing?

Anyway, great show boys, I’m glad that you guys enjoyed the musical as much as I did!

  10. Kevin is/was correct, when visiting a metropolitan city it is recommended that you pickup the local “free news paper”. In Houston you should pick up the Houston Free Press. Comes out on Thursday and covers all of the local scene for the weekend/week. Good source to find out what the locals are doing. Of course “new” and “old” media can be combined… if you see something in the press look it up online. This is a better method than just google-ing and risk finding links that are out-of-date and no longer current.
