Oscar! Oscar! Oscar! We’re not talking about the Odd Couple, we’re talking about the Academy Awards. What’s a golden globe? What’s the national board of review? What does this all mean? Kevin Thomas, your gay […]

  1. Hey studs. I adore you, natch.
You may already know that Richard Haydn (Uncle Max in Sound of Music) was the voice of the Caterpillar in Disney’s Alice in Wonderland… But did you know he ran a bannana plantation in Jamaica before becoming an actor? Or that he was an Ace fighter pilot in World War II? True fact.
Even tho you never called, I’m going to pretend I am your on-the-scene correspondent for the inauguration anyway. Isnt it fabu that Bishop Gene Robinson is giving the opening prayer? That makes me feel way less bitchslapped.
I am aiming all my spare brainwaves/karmic vibrations at the greenlighters re the Jackman/Streisand Sunset Blvd idea, but I was sad you didn’t seque from Jackman into a nice syllable or two for “Australia” which I thought was a superfantastic, dont-miss-it-if-you-can, BIG screen entertainment. I agree about the Vistor chick, she was awesome and so are you.

ps I think you should throw an orgy in SecondLife so we can all have wild cartoon sex together.

I really enjoyed Kevin Thomas on the show with you guys. He really plays well with your personalities and adds a lot to the podcast. I liked his take on the Oscar nominations and was impressed by his knowlege of the industry. I guess we shall see how well he was able to predict the nomination list when they are annonced. Thanks again for another fun FOF podcast!

  4. Thanks for having Kevin back on the show. I have a better idea besides Huge Jackman and Babs, for the Sunset Boulevard Musical Movie; Kevin Thomas and Tracy Tyler. lol Funniest part on the show, was hearing Marc’s Barbara impression. Please do it again, that was fantastic. That did sound like Babs, Liza & Mae West all in one. lol

Grrrrowl! Bring on the noise, bring on the junk in the trunk! Kevin’s a hot bear.

  6. Curtis says:

Fausto why do you hate awards season so much 😉 You did everything in your power to steer the conversation away from Kevin’s analysis and predictions, especially desperately trying to drag the conversation back to Fergie a couple different times (no there’s a topic I care nothing about). As a person who sees on average 100+ movies in theaters each year I crave the perspective of other queer cinephiles. The Oscars are my Superbowl, and the Golden Globes are like a play off tournament.

my list of top films of 2009:
WALL-E, Revolutionary Road, Milk, In Bruges, The Dark Knight, Let the Right One In, Slumdog Millionaire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Iron Man, Man on Wire, The Wrestler, The Bank Job, The Reader, The Band’s Visit, The Visitor, Hamlet 2, Tell No One, Happy Go Lucky, Tropic Thunder, Kung Fu Panda, Burn After Reading , Bolt, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Sex and the City, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, the Duchess, Pineapple Express,

  7. Kevin is awesome! I was so happy to get a double dose of this lovable man. I definitely will stay at his hotel on my next trip to SF. He is witty, charming and fun. Please bring him back in the future.

Love the Sound of Music bit yall did, was LMAO. My fav. is when the Baroness says ‘Max your such a Beast’ and ‘If i knew there would be singing i’d brought my harmonica”(i think that is the quote):) have a good weekend!

  9. Nidocamen says:

LOL I was given some Lagerfeld when I was like, a kid! I still have it, but I don’t wear it. Prefer Eternity or CK One. Too funny though that Kevin loves it!!
