    Rick

The Zak is on Twitter! He’s a thought experiment- why not actually write something you haven’t actually said 1,000,000 times before.

  4. Andy says:

Another great show with Jim. I agree with him about what he said about healthcare. Also it may be good to change the focus from marriage to healthcare now. What could be more asset driven than try to stay healthy, happy and prevent serious illnesses?

I think every modern, industrialized country should have universal healthcare. In Europe the idea for universal healthcare already came up before WW2. In Germany the system was founded by Otto Eduard Leopold von Bismarck, the first German chancellor in 1883.

  7. warning says:

protesters are concerned about other liberty limiting bills not just the healthcare program.

h875 -bans organic farming and selling of local produce if you dont pay large fees that only agribusinesses can afford. -lobbied by montasantoss

hate crimes bill- will cover offensive new media- if your podcast ‘offends’ it may be a hate crime. this is out of cyberbullying concerns but can be misused for stiffling political dissent

so the mainstream discourse is lumping protesters against haelthcare (which any compassionate person knows the country needs) and colors them as heartless or paid by insurance companies.

what protesters need to do is to bring to light these hidden bills which may pass the senate come fall. (or protest the fact that the patriot act, wartless wirtapping and guantanamo bay are still around under obama)

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  9. Jim Pickett is way too hot to let him die. I got health insurance for him right here.

Healthcare is too expensive to be run by anyone but the government. One day it will all crack and everything will be a “public” option. Besides we already have “death panels” with every current private insurance company. They ain’t saving lives for baby jesus now.

  10. warning says:

HR 6123 is the proposed cyber bullying bill. It targets new media.

“Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to a person, using electronic means to support severe, repeated, and hostile behavior, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. (搂 881)”

Emotional distress??? I think this may effect your podcast considering the amount of distress youve casued poor lady bunny.

  11. Always great to hear Jim on the show. Uplifting and inspirational. I especially liked the reasons he gave for early testing. Somethings I had not considered but will def. pass along. Great conversation on healthcare. Reminds me that I currently live in a conservative area. The local wingnuts had drawn a hitler moustache on an Obama poster and were foaming at the mouth about the death panels. Good grief.
