Deep in the mountains of rural Tennessee there is a thriving network of queer communities whose origins go back to the beginnings of the modern gay rights movement with the Radical Faeries.

Today two of our friends Tom Foolery and Maxzine Weinstein from IDA play their hilarious music and share their experience of living in a commune of gay musicians, trans pirates, lesbian warriors and pagan witches.

A Plethora of information. What was Short Mountain Sanctuary like? Seems like a wonderful place to visit (to learn fermentation) but I was wondering if you were at a Bed & Breakfast or enjoying the camping atmosphere. Thanks for sharing your experiences – JOEL
