Josh Kilmer-Purcell was once Aquadesia, a popular drag queen living in New York City known for her acrylic bra that held live goldfish. He wrote all about it in his book, “I Am Not Myself These Days“- one of the best drag queen memoirs ever.

Today, he and his partner live on a rustic farm in upstate New York, the focus of Josh’s new book and a reality TV show “The Fabulous Beakman Boys.”

I can’t remember the last time Josh was on the show…but I remember the episode where your ex-PETA buddy gave him a hard time about the fish boobs hehe…

I loved this episode. I think it’s good when we can be just part of a normal culture. Don’t get me wrong I love the outrageous but when someone like Josh can be a goat farmer then we’ve become just about as mainstream as you can get.

I would love to hear more about Shirley Phelps too. It sounds like something that could be a great interview or just information for our fight against the right.

I happened to be on a UAL Flight to Chicago with the lady that manages the Milk Campaign. She wants the Beekman Boys for a future campaign. I had to ask about the criteria: (1) must like milk, (2) able to accept modest payment.

I learned what a milk mustache is: milk-hagan daz vanilla ice cream, and sour cream mix.
