  1. Ah memories! Our album art in 2005:

    • FoF (and this image) was one of the very first things I found online shortly after I came out in the fall of 2005. With the podcast you and Marc took me, a frightened, insecure, naive, little gay Mormon boy by the hand and guided me through a new world I knew nothing about. I will forever be grateful for that guidance and the confidence you helped build within me.
Much love and admiration from Phoenix,
      -seth

Oh the Blue Hair… memories, memories, memories. 🙂

  2. Great idea! I LOVE it. It may be too late but my only suggestion is in the name. Google plus, I mean FOF plus? How about Feast of Fun, The Second Course? Making a plan on the fact that you get even more satisfied! I just thought it would be clever to play on the word “feast”. It may be too late but I am going to rename my folder FOF, the 2nd Course! Great job guys and we are all so glad you are staying afloat. I will definitely be a subscriber.

  3. Andy says:

Wow, huge changes ahead. I am excited! So it will be $108 a year? Can you pay other than via Paypal, I don’t like Paypal since I had huge trouble with it in August and don’t really want to use it anymore.

  4. Adam Robinson says:

Thanks guys for a great wrap-up of 7 years of the show so far! And thank you for acknowledging the contributions of extra-ordinary guests that have been such a fun part of the show. Acknowledging the regular guests from the past was really good of you … the past guests who remain friends and those who sadly aren’t. A good way to start a new chapter in Feast of Fun!

  5. OMG! I was on your top three!?! You are soooo sweet! 🙂 That made my day, thank you.

  6. MaxT says:

You made me cry today! So emotional. Wonderful! Where do I apply for it????
This week I have found my new job, resigned from my terrible actual job, though I just got a promotion (without salary increase… they are Dutch), I have started smiling again, after 2 depressing months, and today YOU announce a great news. What a week!!!
I have a question, if someone starts with a subscription at $108, would it be possible afterwords to switch for a gold or platinum one?

  7. RcktMan says:

I really loved this show. Having been there since (almost) the very beginning, I remember everything you talked about today fondly. I laughed with you, cried with you, and loved every minute of it. It’s exciting to see you moving into a new direction, and I’ll still be here to support you all the way. 🙂 Congrats and good luck with the big changes ahead!

  8. Chickengirl says:

I’ve been listening to the show since the beginning of 2006! Lots of fond memories! I remembered all the moments you brought up! The good times, the awkward times, and the bad times.

I have to say Miss Ronnie and Amanda were some of my fave regular guests! It’s too bad you had a falling out with them, but I’ll still look back with fond memories of the shows they were apart of. Yet all the other guests you have had on the show in the past, and returning guests that still come on the show have been a delight!

While I don’t think I could consider myself a part of the GLBT community, I dunno what I do without FOF, it means a lot to me.

Feast of Fun+ is a great idea! At the moment I’m afraid I could not afford the subscription, but if I start working at my part time job again, I’d be able to afford it!

what you guys do is so amazing and I hope there will be many more years of the FOF to come!

  9. Tim says:

Congratulations, guys! I will definitely be supporting you and joining FOF Plus+!

  10. Barrett says:

Sounds like a good idea. I hope it offers you all some long-term financial stability. I’ll definitely subscribe once I’ve got a firmer standing at my new job.

Many more years of success to you!

  11. Nathaniel says:

I can’t wait to sign up for my new Feast of Fun membership. I’m so glad you are making this move; I think it will make such a difference for you fellas. I’ve been listening to your old podcasts since I only discovered you in the last year. You boys really have come into your own. Some of your early shows were a little rough, but you guys are just so charming. I work from home, and podcasts get me through my day. I really feel like I am sitting around with friends, joking and laughing, when I listen to the Feast of Fun. The infused vodka podcast had such heart, the early christmas podcast was so warm, and the Rick Stokes & Jim Verraros interviews were such premium content. I keep the Trans-Body Politics and Collaboration is the Future of the Internet podcasts in my iTunes permanently.

I wish you were offering more in-between membership options. I can easily afford a gold membership two or three times over, but the platinum membership is out of my reach. I think you may find most others are in the same situation; I’m sure you will figure things out as you go. Perhaps I will sign up for two memberships, and you can donate my extra membership to a hardship member. I think the move to memberships is smart either way.

Also, regarding the name, Feast of Fun Plus+ is okay, but Feast of Fabulousness would be faboo. Think about it. First, it was Feast of Fools, then Feast of Fun, now, Feast of Fabulousness. It’s the next evolution. FOF:TNG for the Star Trek fans out there.

  12. Steve2011 says:

FOF Plus?? Seems very inconsistent – considering all your criticism of Google Plus. My suggestion:
FOF Pig Out! If you stick with the “Plus” name, do a new t-shirt: PLUS – FOF Does it Better (than Google)

  13. I love when people say “extra-ordinary” instead of just “extraordinary.” Adds a bit of umph. Marc, I totally understand how it can be fustrating when used over and over again.

Loved the episode & really made me realize how far I’ve come since I started listening to the show. Look forward to the future of Feast of Fun & being apart of it.

  14. Rick says:

Hey guys, I’ve been listening since 2009 and it’s a fantastic idea to make paid subscriptions, however, I agree with the person above who said that we should have more options when it comes to pay you, I also had problems with paypal and rather pay directly from the credit card instead. Wish you all the best.
P.S: I’m going to be more active on the site from now on! 😛

  15. Oh the memories! (puppies) Loved the look back over the years, (puppies) it’s a bit scary to think I can remember all the way back to the Madame Lola episode #227. I still have it on my iTunes (puppies) and it still makes me die laughing.
You work it any way you can to make it happen! And remember to flip that shit cos babies, everything’s gonna be alright!
Longtime listeners should get the veiled references 😀

Right, where do I sign up! lol
