Many dream about expressing themselves creatively, but hold back because they fear they’ll get rejected. But folks can’t love you if they don’t first have the chance to reject you, but you’d be amazed how far you can get by clearly asking others for help.

Today we’re joined by one of our younger listeners, Kaylee Losawyer, a gal with a can do spirit who’s managed to put out an album of music and become a fierce drag performer by simply asking others to help her get it done.

I’ve always been curious about this and have discussed with friends, why are we driven to “fame” rather than success or being impactful? Go go boys, celebs, etc are idolized in our communities but why don’t we put our doctors, our community leaders, and our otherwise less glitterized members or professions known? We need more lgbt youth to be more aimed at being our next political leaders, or next MD’s, or next change makers. “I want to know WHYYYYYYYYY!” -“M’Lynn” Eatenton

  4. Great show! I enjoyed listening to Kaylee Losawyer! I was just in Tacoma and Seattle and had a very nice time. I’m glad Kaylee’s mom found a new hobby! Tell her that Lola von Miramar loves Jackie O fashion!

I am glad you folks like the show! I hope my tips help to further your goals somehow! Maybe my mom’s actual hobby was fashion, and I was just her nearest client. I’d love to see her combine fashion with her baking hobby and make a fab cake dress! Ha!
