Drag queen Cherri Baum from the House of Haunt in Pittsburgh pranked the internet (well mostly Reddit) by saying she was cast on RuPaul’s Drag Race, but was kicked off the show for slapping someone.

Today Cherri Baum comes clean and tell us why she started the whole bitch-slapping rumors.

Love the stream-of-consciousness tomfoolery, especially Fausto’s “creative” analysis of Michelle’s traumatic relationship with the color chartreuse. Thanks for the laughs.

I love you guys and appreciate all the hard work you do, but have you finally run out of guests? She was flat and uninteresting and seemingly non-nonchalant about topics that required any depth of emotion. And that voice! I wanted to rip my ears off, so many repetitions and that slurpy letter s. DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE? UGH!

Fausto, I find your comments on today’s show and on several other shows in the past about French Canadians offensive and uninformed. I have held back on a least two previous occasions from leaving a comment after listening to your generalizations but this is the third strike so to speak. From your comments, it is obvious to me that you know very little about French Canadians, certainly not enough to warrant the generalizations you make. You may have had experiences with individuals in the past that have lead you to your opinion but how many do you really know that warrant these generalizations to a group of people who number in the (low) millions? When challenged on your views in the past, you have used, ” I married a French Canadian” in your defence. It is my understanding that Marc is an american of French Canadian decent and is clearly not of the group you are speaking of in your comments.

If I were to look a the general characteristics of French Canadians (the good and the bad) as I know them to be and compare them to your personality, as you come across to me as a listener, I would have to wonder if you aren’t French Canadian yourself. The are so many similarities.

On another but similar note, I hope you don’t think that the presence of Cirque du Soleil in your city means you are inundated with French Canadians. While the company’s origins are French Canadian, the cast is international and French Canadians do not make up the majority of the performers in any recent cast lists I have read.

    Hey guys!

I must compliment you on being able to interview a person who only replied with monosillabic words…
Maybe she was not in the mood but I found her little contribution to the podcast boring.

    Listen to you soon!

Holy cow, what a terrible interview. Kudos to you guys trying to pull any kind of remotely interesting out of such a dreadful guest.

I agree with what you said in this episode: Terry Sweeney was a great interview the day before.
