Agreed.
We showed Malcolm’s first sundance entrant, Small Town Gay Bar, at our little Gay Film Festival in Northern Ontario. It was so little that, while we did provide a crappy hotel room, we couldn’t afford to buy him dinner, or provide much “entertainment” expense. So in lieu, my husband and I spent most of the day and night showing him around our little one horse town and then cooking dinner for him. He CLAIMED it was the best time he had ever had on tour with the show. Super funny and fun guy!
