I’m kind of irritated at the spelling of “lye”, but yes, it’s an interesting way to clear earwax – I’ve had it done in India this way many times. It’s very relaxing when done for you by a professional… along with a nice scalp massage.
Ear candling has been debunked. It does not work. Don’t waste your money.
The “earwax” that you see in the burnt cone is actually wax from the cone itself, not your ear.
