It always ruffles my feathers when the Internet is portrayed as the big bad guy. If you are hooking up online you can easily get the details like HIV status and condom use out of the way before you ever leave the house.
It would seem a lot easier to do so online rather than a hook up in the alley or forest preserve where it might spoil the mood.
Also, the line “he didn’t use a condom” – i don’t want to finger wag but it takes two to tango. It might come off better if he said “I didn’t make sure he used a condom.”
I can’t help but feel frustrated when i hear about people contracting HIV in this day an age. Specially when it’s out of shear stupidity.
That might seem a bit harsh but that’s just the way i feel. People really need to THINK more.
