Thanks Marc! It was such a thrill to be there that day, and we had no idea it was even going to happen until after the first hour of the rehearsal when our director gave us the words and we practiced singing it. We also found out at at that time that Dan Savage himself was going to be there for the recording.
It’s things like this that make me so proud to be a member of the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus.
Is it possible to be cute and and awkward at the same time? It does come across a bit as cringe inducing. I was worried this was going to be a lot worse, but it actually is pretty good.
Oh ye of little faith. 🙂 I’d rather do something like this than something totally over the top. Think of this as 150 individual messages in one video. That’s how I see it.
