This is some amazing footage of a road being washed away by a flood. I love at the end that you hear a guy calmly say “I have to go” as the flood rages.

I read some days ago that 2010 has been the warmest year since 130 years and the last years the economic damage caused by natural disasters has been constantly rising. Unfortunately it looks like the trend will continue in 2011 with floodings in different parts of the world.
Due to the melting of snow after very heavy snow fall in December some cities like Frankfurt are also threatend here by high water now. Only because of mobil dams the inner city of Frankfurt has not been flooded.

This was filmed in America, I saw it on youtube a few yeas ago. Not in Australia.
