I’m not sure why they are even wanting to remove snow from the roof as it’s usually better to just leave it there for insulation because the air is usually colder than snow.

lol, but in some countries like in Germany you have to remove the snow from the roof. In case someone gets hurt because snow/ice falling down from the roof the house owner has to pay.
I bet more people get hurt removing it than by getting hit by it.
I’m glad the guy wasn’t hurt!
Also, if the snow is too heavy or too deep, it could cause the roof to collapse. However, the snow on this roof didn’t look that deep at all.
