When the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, it invigorated the city’s bohemian community and inspired artists all around the world to break down the walls of art, politics, performance and gender.
Artists rushed to Berlin because it provided them with the one thing they love the most: cheap rent!
Today, we salute the barrier breaking musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch by making a schnitzel sandwich with a spicy twist. And as we look up from our vermouth on the rocks we’re also serving vodka soaked gummi bears.

Joining us is Perfidia, queen of the big wig. You’ve seen her work the counter at Patricia Fields in the film Wigstock.
This legendary queen has made wigs for many of your favorite entertainers including Bob the Drag Queen, Amy Sedaris and Ms. Yvonne from Pee Wee’s Playhouse.
Perfidia is currently whipping the dos on all the wigs in the Broadway revival of Hedwig und zeeee Angry Inch.
