Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Fausto Fernós created the Feast of Fools in 1998 as wacky artists variety show in Chicago, Illinois. Feast of Fun grew out of an audio blog to promote the live show into the world’s most downloaded talk show aimed for gay people.

Love this woman! Thank you guys so much for this amazing interview, I got to hear a lot about her Oscars win that I had never heard before.
I saw Mo’Nique’s show at Milwaukee PrideFest, and was impressed by her genuine love for everyone and her warmth, as well as her hilariously raunchy yet REAL humor. She projected love upon the audience in a way I had never really seen before. That takes some real talent.

I had the pleasure of working security for pridefest and I have done this for 8 years. Mo`Nique and her people were the best I have ever worked with. John Smalls her security manger is the best. mo`Nique treated everyone with love and respect. She even went as far as going on the other side of the gates because we had to clear the grounds and take pics with her fans. Thank you Fausto and Marc! mad love from Milwaukee to all.

I wasn’t always a huge fan, but I like Mo’Nique the more I learn about her. She seems very down to earth.
Did you all hear anything from her or her people about the gay-oriented comedy set you mentioned possibly being in development in a previous show?
I think she wants to tour and perform in LGBT venues, so whomever is willing to have her, she will be there! Book her!
Why should lesbians in prisons and folks in Milwaukee be the only ones to have all the fun?
