The only thing is I had to fast forward through like ten minutes of the show because you kept spoiling the different character endings of Harry Potter! My coworkers were wondering why I was la-la-la-ing out loud trying to drown you out whilst I was trying to avoid any more spoilers. But hilarious as always!

re: frequent flier miles. CURSES! I gave several tickets to family members and used one just last weekend. My balance is barely 10,000. I would have happily donated miles to bring you guys back to SF!!!
On a somber note, Andrew Sullivan’s (don’t hate me because I’m a conservative, hate me because I’m a bitch!) response resonated with me:
Tragically, Amy Winehouse finally got what she sought for so long: death. It must in some ways be a relief for her. Her addiction was so obviously overwhelming she couldn’t bring herself to master it and made a decision not to. She even wrote a song defending her desire to die. If someone suffering a terrible disease refuses treatment for it, they are choosing death. That’s what she chose. We have to respect that decision even as we mourn the loss of a brilliantly original artist.
ok, happy talk. Peaches, loved all your recommendations and can’t wait to catch the ones i haven’t already seen. Now work your magic. I’d love to see Fausto, Marc, Devan and Joel on stage with you!

Good lord. Listen to yourself. She desired death? She had a crippling disease! Yes, there’s a certain level of personal accountability addicts must have, but victim blaming and shaming is so myopic. Sounds like you and Sullivan need to go lay on a hot rock until your reptilian hearts warm.
I think it’s part of the grieving process to react like that. When they get some distance form it, they’ll probably realize there is more to it than just a death wish.
