The Changing Face of Pride

This year marks the first Pride celebration for many folks since the Covid shutdown. As we prepare to brave the crowds and celebrate sexual and gender diversity, we’ve noticed that the flags, words and even the people who show up for Pride celebrations have changed.

Today the reliably hilarious Matt Brown, who has the spirit of Betty Davis trapped in the body of a young black comedian, joins us to look back on the changing face of Pride and the intergenerational challenges LGBTQ+ folks face.

This January marks the 10 year anniversary of Glitter Day, the fabulous holiday in celebration of all things magical and sparkly inside all of us.
