I was just reading it. I thought it died a long time ago and that just some of the words or expression survived.
I suppose it depends on how you define something as a distinct language (Wikipedia calls Polari a “cant”, which leads to all sorts of synonyms that I don’t have time to look up), and what qualifies as death for such. I know nothing of linguistics beyond one freshman-year course at uni, hence why I posed the title as a question.
