I will have nightmares over this poor monkey serving customers in Japan while wearing a human mask. It’s the creepiest thing I’ve seen a while.

yea, it is pretty creepy, I’ve heard of monkey waiters before, but I don’t understand why this restaurant decided to dress the monkey up as a woman. Yet, if you look at the video description you will see that the person who posted the video wrote a blog post about going to the restaurant BECAUSE of the monkey waiters, so you can’t completely blame the restaurant owners when they make money from tourists coming to the restaurant just for the monkeys. The person even said the food wasn’t that great, the service was lousy, and they were overcharged for their food. :/
Besides, there are plenty of other countries that abuse animals in some kinda attraction for the sake of entertaining tourists and making money from it….and that monkey at least looked like it was ok health wise

Looks like the same restaurants which used monkeys as waitresses before. One day the monkey will put on the mask, take a knife and kill the owner.
