At the height of her drag career, Dida Ritz mysteriously disappeared. After losing her drag mom she needed time to breathe and find inspiration. It’s hard to keep a fierce queen down, so Dida is back with a vengeance and taking no prisoners!

Today Dida Ritz joins us to talk about life after RuPauls’ Drag Race, falling in and out of drag, and all the T on Drag Race you haven’t heard until now.

      So great to hear that Dida Ritz is performing again! This was a great show. I could relate to what she says about negotiating her identity in and out of drag. Also, thanks for talking about Reina Valentino. I really appreciate how you guys cover the Puerto Rican drag history of Chicago. It is amazing to see photos of Reina with RuPaul’s Drag Race performers like Monica Beverly Hillz and Gia Gunn and to learn of her connection to Miss Ketty Teanga. Also thank you for the beautiful photos of Reina (see attached).

      Thanks so much Larry! Reina was a real gem. If you get a chance, scroll through her her Facebook updates and you’ll be amazed by her colorful use of language as she tells what happening in her life.
