It’s hard to hear the word “no” when your dreams seem to be hanging by a thread. But– Man’s rejection is God’s protection, so when someone tells you “no” it may be the start of something that will change the world.

Newly restored to glorious 4K, the 1968 documentary “The Queen” depicts the scandalous crowning of a drag queen pageant winner, much to the dismay of fellow contestant Crystal LaBeija who went on to create the ballroom culture we’ve come to know through the film Paris is Burning and the TV show Pose.

Today comedian Matt Brown joins us to look at the pre- Stonewall documentary film ‘The Queen” and how sometimes the worst decisions can spark a revolution.

The Dave Chappelle show/special was hilarious! (I’m trans– “No one likes the T’s” yep! TRUTH!) and the jokes were not stereotypical at all!
So nice to see someone bash EVERYONE. It was GREAT!
