So this is my chance to rant and rave about me, without objection? Bet! So first things first, I’m an artist. But not in the overt manner, my art takes a second glance. My art isn’t only in my writing, but in my movement, my manner of speech, and in my clothes. I have intent… Don’t take me for granted, my actions and words are derivatives of careful thought. I am aware that I walk amongst contradictions in personality. On the one hand, I am blatantly honest, bold, and outspoken to a fault –even when unsolicited. But at the same time, I am compassionate, sensitive, reflective, and diplomatic. I do not care what you think about me, even though it means everything. I am bourgeoisie with an occasional ghetto fabulous flare.

Good, now try to get what I’m looking for…. Recently, the people that I have been in relationships with have been all the wrong people. Both friends and lovers, it seems that I tend to migrate towards those people who, metaphorically speaking, epitomize the whole dark night, when I am only but a single candle. I have only now come to realize that no matter how bright my flame shines, I can only illuminate but so much in them. And so, I am now seeking my compliment; I am seeking that someone who snugly fits.

Further, I would argue that regardless of admitting ‘consent’ to any act, he never admitted being a homosexual/bisexual and his dismissal would directly lead to unit discohesion; under the exceptions from 10 U.S.C. § 654(b), he should be permitted to continue serving.
This is the kind of case that we, as a community, should anchor to in order the bring down this outrageous policy…instead of drawing a line in the sand.
