I’m going to go out on a limb and say if there is an important new article about the gay gene, it isn’t going to be in Spanish and coming out of Puerto Rico. 🙂
Actually Marc, there is a HUGE pharmaceutical and research industry in Puerto Rico. Hello! Merc is based down there, since the govt gives the companies huge subsidies.

Yes, I know that they make a lot of drugs in PR but I bet the research is done elsewhere. And I bet Merc’s headquarters aren’t there.
I read the translated article since my Spanish is as rusty as the Tin Man before Dorothy lubed his ass, and it’s basically rehashing a lot of older research that claims that fetuses which turn out to grow up as gay men have less than the normal amount of testosterone released during their formation in the womb. I’m not a big fan of this type of research because I think that instead of spending all that money on finding out why we are gay (so that they one day “cure” it), they should spend that money on educating people on how to accept people who are different.
Anyway, all this is discussion is silly. We all know being gay is a choice. Isn’t that right, Reverend Warren?
