Looks like they were just having some reckless fun–sure it could have lead to injury of the wake boarder, but is that really a situation where the police need to step in and cuff them? Hope they just got a lecture and were let go rather than charged and booked. I think the lesson here is don’t pull your stunts in front of cops.
When we were kids my dad use to take us to a snowed-in parking lot during the winter and he’d attach our sled to back of the car by a long rope and drive us around. We were probably only going a few miles an hour but it felt like we were being whipped around at the speed of light.
I see how it is! The two in-shape guys get cuffed, and the stocky kid in the back gets nothing. Typical.
I thought that too but then I figured they only had two pairs of handcuffs and he was the last one to get out of the car.
They usually have zip-ties or an extra set in that case though.
I’m guessing because he wasn’t at the wheel of the vehicle or on the wakeboard so he’s probably not culpable of anything.
Lots of crap in flood water and exposing yourself is risking infection and disease not just getting banged up but the boys did look cute & I continue to hate surfer trunks. Marc, your comment explains so much.

Surfer trunks MUST be banned everywhere!
I may have to be the voice of descent here. I just came back from Hawaii and saw many a fine looking gentlemen wearing just such a garment to great effect. Sure, surfer trunks can be less revealing of certain features than a speedo but when worn slung low I find they can be equally as delightful.
