Glitter Day 2012 – Aotearoa/New Zealand
I like to corral people at my house and test out cosmetics on them—for fun, not profit—so I arranged to do so for the second ever Glitter Day, catered for the Southern Hemisphere summer with iced herbal tea, white wine spritzers and gluten-free cupcakes. That’s right, Marc, I said “gluten-free cupcakes”. They were sensational—moist and delicious—and I’m not even a big fan of cupcakes! I used this recipe for the cake part (http://cupcakestakethecake.blogspot.com/2008/11/gluten-free-vanilla-cupcake-recipe.html) and this one for the frosting (http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cream-cheese-frosting-ii-2/). And of course, silver dragees on top!
