Pumpkin pie or flan?
We couldn’t decide what dessert to make for Thanksgiving, so in her infinite wisdom, Pandora Boxx suggested we combine them into one fabulous, Latin-American dessert: Pumpkin Pie Flan.

Here’s a fun recipe on how to make tostones- fried green plantains. Now, you don’t have to be in drag to make them, but it sure is fun to look good while you whip up this treat.
The best part of video is when Lola and Saltina go crazy crushing the plantains. Now, Congress just passed a ban on “crush videos” but we’re ok as the only that gets hurt in this video is your sensibilities.
Coming this week is another fabulous video on how to make “tostones” or fried green plantains done with our friend the Puerto Rican queer scholar Larry La Fountain, all dolled up in drag as “Lola Von Miramar.” I think Larry missed his calling as a drag queen, don’t you think?
