Happy New Year everyone! As the Covid pandemic rages on, it feels like too many of our beloved entertainers are gone too soon. Betty White, Meatloaf, designers Thierry Mugler and Andre Leon Talley and comedians Bob Saget and Louie Anderson have all gone to that great Love Boat Special in the sky.

Today we’re taking a look at all the celebrity deaths that’s happened — all of a sudden. Even though we’re in the middle of a pandemic, January is still the month you’re most likely to die.

The Great Linkbait Wars of 2021

For the past 16 years we’ve been doing Feast of Fun, our end of the year show is sometimes called “The Year of Hell,” and while this year has been especially challenging, it hasn’t been all bad.

Joining us to look back on the year are two of our favorite comedians we’ve had on the show, Matt Brown who now interviews Black divas on his Youtube channel and Dan Cass whose parody of Steve from Blues Clues really stroked our funny bone.

The Battle Over West Side Story

60 years later, West Side Story is back, this time directed by Stephen Speilberg with new lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, a new book by Tony Kushner and Executive Produced by and starring Rita Moreno in a new role as the motherly Valentina.

The remake is being celebrated for its more positive portrayal of minorities, but some folks are still stung by the racist legacy of the original work and would rather see new films created for and by Puerto Rican people.

Today we take a look at Stephen Speilberg’s remake of West Side Story, what changes they made, why the box office numbers are low and why you will love it!

As we celebrate 16 years and 3,000 episodes of Feast of Fun, we’ve asked one of our all time favorite drag queen guests, Miss Understood, to join us to look back at the early years of drag on TV and film.

In the 90s, Miss Understood was a regular on the daytime TV talk show circuit and she was in the first major Hollywood film to focus on drag queens “To Wong Foo.”

Today Miss Understood joins us to look back on her life as a drag queen and owner of Screaming Queens Entertainment and her new fashion line Magic Teez.
