Nutritionists have long warned of the perils of hot dogs: fat, sodium and preservatives to name a few.

Lol, what kind of parent gives their infant a WHOLE hotdog? OF COURSE THEY’RE GOING TO CHOKE, GOD, some people.
Warning Labels on kid’s Toys is one thing (because they’re designed FOR kids), but putting ‘Choking Hazard’ labels on foods is simply moronic. Practically any food item presents a chocking hazard.
They should really be more concerned about whats INSIDE the food these days.
Now, if I crunched the numbers in that article correctly, then hot dogs kill approximately 17 people a year in the US. The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (yes, a real organization) estimates that 20 billion hot dogs are consumed in the US per year. So that places your odds of being killed by a hot dog at approximately 1.2 billion to one. The odds of being struck by lightning are approximately 750,000 to one. Therefore, you are 1569 times more likely to get struck by lightning than to die by eating a hot dog.
In conclusion, these people are fucking retarded.
I do agree with you guys that people who swallow whole dogs are insane. However I believe the numbers and request was referring to infant size dogs since it is a danger that parents are aware of.
But they should just slice the dogs down the middle.
There’s infant size hotdogs? Lol. I guess those should come precut for stupid/lazy parents then. Or maybe not-so-small sized (regular size?).
Still, it’s really silly. You can choke on anything that goes down you’re throat. If anything they should make them bigger to promote biting/chewing. If it’s small then they’ll just try to swallow them whole.
This headline really made me giggle.
If I remember correctly, EVERY PARENT I HAVE EVER KNOWN CUTS UP A HOT DOG BEFORE GIVING IT TO THEIR KIDS. Let’s be real, with all the stuff going on is this really news worthy? LOL. Um, Let’s make the hot dog into a pattie and call it a frankenburger.
