Who ever photoshopped that didn’t photoshop Bristol into a photo of the Virgin Mary. That’s a picture of Jesus.
Actually Bristol’s face was superimposed over Mary’s using a transparency. If you look really close you can see Mary under Bristol. Jesus has a beard. Bristol is a beard.
Yeah, I thought that might have been Jesus because of the robe colors; I thought Mary wore mostly blue, not red, but Googling “sacred heart mary” brings up several robe variations, including this one. Jesus also doesn’t have his head draped. I think. I really can’t comment with authority, having been raised Protestant and only ever seeing these images on devotional candles at the supermarket.
