What a miserable year! As 2009 comes to an end, we’re reminded of what a terrible year it was for not just the nation, but for gay people as well.
But it’s not all bad. 2009 was also a year where millions of people felt empowered to stand up and say “I want my rights” and a lot of people had some sexy good times. Comedian Adam Guerino joins us to find the healing power of laughter inside all the misery. Listen as we look at the impact of the ugly Christmas sweater on this holiday season and the worst Christmas presents ever given.

Great podcast guys. You mentioned the app you are developing for the iPhone. How about an app for the Android OS? My Droid would love to listen to the podcast!
Hi Fausto and Mark,
This is Richard a Vegas fan. You may remember me (or not) we were unable to get together when you were in Vegas and I (arg!) missed the listener party. You also villified my (what I thought was in jest) comment the other day on your podcast! Let me clarify I love Christmas and gift giving, I just hate shopping, the crowds and all the pressure! And you will be getting a gift from me this Christmas.
I’ve very excited about the iPhone app and will be making my donation today. Not as much as I’d like to but you know with the Christmas season and those 27.9% interest rate on my credit card, blah, blah, blah.
Finally, thank you for all the wonderful guest you’ve had on lately. I’ve enjoyed them immensely. Adam Guerino is hot. If he does wear pasties make sure you post pics!!!, Jen Zias has a lovely voice, and it was great to hear Summer Nettles twice in as many weeks!!!
Love love love you guys! Thanks for having me on your show and I hope we have another sexy ugly sweater photo shoot sometime soon!
I have a gPhone and would love to see an Android app as well! It’s open source so it shouldn’t be hard to find a developer who would possibly do it for some mentions on the show and/or a plug on the site. Wouldn’t cost you anything.
And yes, other than a few bright moments, it has been the year from hell. I have some friends who are having a calendar burning party for new years eve! I like the idea. If I’m someplace where I can burn one and not set a building on fire or get arrested, I may join in the sentiment.
Here’s to a better 2010 for all of us.
