Thom Austin – The Healing Power of Building Muscle

Ever since the Stonewall Riots ignited the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement in 1969, most major cities have had Pride Parades until the Covid Pandemic of 2020 where it was all put on pause.

This year will be the first Pride Parade we’ve had in two years, and while we are still concerned over Covid, there’s now also the worry over violence, like recently in Idaho where a van full of Fascist militia were ready to harm people celebrating Pride.

Joining us today is our pal Jack Ryan, the host of The 10% Percent Show that ran on Chicago Cable Access in the late 80s and early 90s, to take a look at the changing face of Pride.
