That was tasteee!!! I just love the song young americans… how can one contain themselves from dancing when that horn riff comes in at the beginning of that tune…
the medley thing is so funny but boy do I love me that Bowie!
Hear hear, Tyto! Mmmm… David Bowie was one of my first crushes. In Labyrinth, where he’s all androgynous’ed out.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah.
Wow… that was so tastefully awful. I don’t know what was worse — the flow of the medley itself or Cher’s hair?
Try and find the David Bowie/Marianne Faithful (in an assless nun costume) duet from the 1980 Floor Show. Nearly as awful. You are probably also aware of Television’s Most Surreal Moment, the Bowie/Bing Crosby Christmas song duet.
blnkfrnk – Bowie/Crosby was surreal, but it produced a really gorgeous moment. I love the duet of Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth they did.. it’s become a classic all these years later.
