“Who?”, was my first thought.
Joey Lawrence hasn’t been up to much that anyone wants to see, unfortunately. He’s doing a lot of B-movies and the obligatory TV guest spots, but other than that, he’s about two direct to video releases away from his own series on VH1.
The middle brother Matthew has fared a bit better than his older brother. He had a pretty long stint on the show Boy Meets World as Rider Strong’s brother. After that series ended, he went on to do a couple of movies including a pretty hilarious turn as the boyfriend of Rachel McAdams character who turns into Rob Schneider in The Hot Chick. He’s got a couple of arthouse films coming out next so I guess we’ll see if they are able to rebrand him as a serious actor.
While the older brothers careers kind of fizzled out early, the youngest brother, Andrew seems to be just breaking out. He most recently played the “bi-curious” love interest of Toni Collette’s son on Showtime’s The United States of Tara. He’s also had guest appearances on Bones, CSI: NY, and the Closer and has about 3 films in production. Here’s a picture of the lovely youngest Lawrence…
I kinda missed the Joey Lawrence thing. I must have been in Europe when he was big.
