Yes, I borrowed a line or two, but his translation followed the original writer’s form too closely for my taste. The Spanish writer’s structure is very strange, indeed.
I wonder if maybe the Cuban government censored the original interview, the writes style may have originally been clear. But after a few things get taken out at the request of a dictatorship it starts to read strangely.
