VIDEO: Zach Anner Wants to Keep Austin Weird

We’re so rooting for Zach Anner, a comedian from Austin, Texas who does a regular travel video blog on YouTube and describes his physical condition as the “sexiest form of cerebral palsy.”

Zach wins over just about everyone with his incredible charm as he pokes gentle fun at them from his motorized wheelchair.

Although he was for a while the favorite in Oprah’s “Your OWN Show” contest, he was suddenly overtaken by other contestants including, Dr. Phyllis, who got more than 300,000 votes in less than 20 minutes and 600,000 within an hour, prompting many to question whether the network, or even Winfrey herself, had played a part in goosing the contest’s numbers.

Never mind that such internet celebrity making online news communities like 4chan, Reddit and Digg have all rooted for their millions of users to vote for him. Why won’t Oprah let Zach win?

It doesn’t matter if Zach has “The Secret” or not, since he’s obviously won the hearts and minds of millions of people online and will probably get a career out of all this regardless if he wins or loses.
