I used to play a Yahama YTS-62! It was a great instrument.
I loved Kristine’s honesty about the different “kinds” pageants. It’s great to be enlightened. This was a great episode.
Thanks for the Easter Egg guys!
OMG I didn’t even realize there was an Easter Egg! I finished the show by the time I got to work this morning and just turned off the iPod. Thanks for pointing that out, Alfonzo.
Fausto and Marc, first, thank you for letting me come over to take pictures of and meet the lovely and talented Kristine W. She was so much fun… so natural, down-to-Earth and so REAL! I honestly didn’t know much about her before the interview (aside from a few songs I’d heard of before), but after hearing her tell her story and sing her songs, I am now a fan.
Congrats on a great interview. This only further proves why you are the best at what you do!
Great show Marc and Fausto. I love Kristine W’s music. Wonderful job on the interview!
Really really fantastic show guys! She is awesome! One strange thing, the podcast showed up for me as being about 88 minutes, yet it there is only really an hour of audio and then 20 mins of silence and then her endorsement of the show at the end, is that the way it was supposed to be?
There wasn’t suppose to be an Easter egg! Its an audio mistake I think Fausto is going to fix.
Feast of Fun never fails to please! Marc and Fausto always bring us the best podcast bar none! Kristine W is a rare find – I love her music but rarely come across interviews with her. Magnificent, Wonderful and Talented – Kristine is that and more and it shows thanks to the Feast.
Kudos to you, Kristine, for being so inspirational! I had a similar experience after having a hip replacement operation one day and a stroke the next. I think that my recovery is due to my love for teaching Spanish at the local community college. Love of ‘work’ is life enhanching! And Kudos to you, Fausto & Marc, for getting this wonderful interview! Besos!
Great show guys! I’ve loved Christine for years! My favorite club diva performer, she sings, she plays the drums, she plays the sax, amazing show! Loved learning more about her, her recovery, sense of humor, intelligence, etc. Can’t wait to see her again! Been way too long.
This was one of my favourite episodes (although they’re all great, of course!). Her voice and musical abilities are amazing. A very special person.
FWIW, I played the coronet in my junior high band. I stopped when I started high school because I wanted to do theater and not spend all my extra curricular time with the marching band. I miss playing the orchestral stuff, though. That was fun.
