    Hey Sharon needles
I just wanted to know if being on drag race has effected your drag style seeing as the judges criticised you for not being “fishy” enough?

Whta is the one thing you have to have with you.

  4. Brent says:

Sharon, can you be as famous as you want to be and still live in Pittsburgh? Or do you think you’ll move sometime so that you can be more famous?

  5. Alex says:

Do you want to be a woman?

  6. Jaymes says:

  7. Keri Traid says:

SHARON CAN YU PLEASE DO THE CINNAMON CHALLENGE LMAO !!

How does it feel to be the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race?

  9. Paru says:

Sharon, I’ve gotta know. Who takes it up the butt in bed; you or Alaska? 😉

  10. Daraxpon says:

    Hey dear Sharon *heart*
I just wanted to say that you are amazing, I love your style, and I wanted to let you know that you have a crazy fan from Ecuador! I respect and love you, and if I ever get to meet you, my life will be complete. Don’t ever stop being YOU!

  11. Alexandra says:

What is your favorite movie character ever?

  12. Insorcer says:

Can you lend me some needles, Sharon?? 😀

  13. Andrew says:

Sharon, an old friend from Des Moines here…Doug (Jones) and I used to come to Newton JUST to hang out with you, listening to My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult…Congrats on your success…it was inevitable. I wanted to ask you if you remember letting me borrow a wig…can’t remember if it was blue or pink. Even though it was a $10 wig, I felt so bad that I lost it and you had no problem guilt tripping the hell out of me for it. You’ll remember as “Andy”. If you visit again, I’ll buy ya any damn wig you want just so I don’t have that looming over my head. Looking forward to watching you WIN.

  14. Ashli says:

How are you and Alaska doing? I mean regardless if you win(we all know you will win)You have gained a ridonkulous amount of fame….Are you still fretting? are you folks finding some balance?

As an edgy queen I associate you with the drag culture I grew up around- San Francisco alot.Do you think your popularity may open up the drag race playing field to include less “traditional” drag?

and finally would you like a painting? if you do email me an place to send it- and what you would want it to be of, as your fan I would be honored.
So much love you have no idea

  15. Rob says:

I don’t really have a question, but I just want to say you are SO FIERCE! You’ve been my favorite since the beginning and I just love ya.

  16. Mysti Waters says:

    Hey Sharon,
I am a huge fan, have been since I saw you on Project Runway. I just wanna know, How did you come about the name Sharon Needles?
    Much love and respect,
    Mysti

  17. Tyler says:

Hey Sharon I absolutely adore you so here’s my question. What was it like growing up “weird” in high school? And do you past bullies keep in touch with you or have attempted to?

  18. sheela blige says:

    hey sharon
please tell u will be coming to the uk to perform soon! if so when??? we here at house of tranarchy in manchester uk love u u inspire us sooo much as does alaska too!!!!

    hail satan
sheela blige…..house mother of the house of tranarchy xxxx

  19. Alexandra says:

If you had to frock a lady (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

  20. Marissa says:

In your last interview you acknowledged that most people will not be successful at their passion and that at certain times you were unable to afford your bills. What kept you going through those times and how do you plan to nurture, encourage or discourage other performers and artists?

And just for the hell of it, have you ever worked in an office? How did it make you feel? If you did not feel comfortable in an office setting how did you cope with that?

  21. Silvana N. says:

How much do your fans impact your drag, or even how much do they impact your life? I also love you so much in RuPauls Drag Race, I think you’re just so precious! 😀

  22. Max Rubin says:

As an erstwhile drag performer myself, I get this question a lot: “Why drag? Why dress as a woman to perform? What’s the significance of performing as another gender as opposed to dressing just as oneself and performing?” I myself haven’t been able to satisfactorily answer this question, so I want to know what you think. Does it mainly come from your inspiration from women such as Peggy Bundy and Elvira? Or is there a deeper artistic meaning in it for you?

  23. Aggie says:

If you were a pub, what would you be called?

  24. BETTY MARTIN says:

    HEY SHARON DEAR

I JUST WANNA SAY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH

MY QUESTION IS.. ” CAN I MEET YOU IN PERSON ONE DAY BECAUSE YOU ARE A INSPIRATION AND YOU ARE NOT AFRAID TO BE A STAR SO CAN I ?

  25. Zac Griffiths says:

Sharon my beautiful spook, if you had to make over any sci fi monster who would it be?

ps. Please be the first Drag Race Queen to come to England! It is tranarchy in the UK and we are LIVING for Miss Needles! x

  26. Excellent Day for an Exorcism says:

Sharon, I adore how unafraid you are to provide controversial social commentary as you’ve elaborated on during your last interview on FoF, but do you now feel pressured to restrict how far you will go now that you are progressively being thought of as a role model?

Also, something I don’t think was directly discussed in the Untucked, but how did you feel when Latrice said you should not make Top 3 during the Fabulous Bitch Ball? Was it a moment where the apology was automatically understood or did you have a moment where you felt somewhat betrayed?

As always, big fan and I can’t wait to meet you personally.

  27. Silvana says:

Sharon, can I just say I love you so much on RuPaul’s Drag Race, and I think you are just an amazing human being. And how do your fans impact your drag, and more importantly how do they impact your life?

  28. Tommy B says:

Love you Sharon! Have people in your home town who accused you of racism shut the hell up after watching the show??? Do people get what you’re doing now better than before?

  29. http://www.davidayllon.com

I’ve noticed you like to reference a lot of tv and movies in your performances (Freddy Kruger, Peggy Bundy, etc.). What are your favorite films and television shows? Which have inspired you the most to create Sharon Needles?

Also I would love to design merch for you and for Feast of Fun. Who do I have to sleep with to make my dreams come true?

  30. Joey says:

Sharon, you are my #1 inspiration. I wish that I could see you perform so badly, but I’m only 16 and you perform at 18+ bars. Is there any chance that you’ll make your shows available for those under 18?

  31. Kirk V. Hughes says:

Sharon… You changed the way I thought of drag the last time you were at Spin in Chicago! It was more of a concert with die-hard fans than a plain old bar performance… I had to stand by the front of the stage the ENTIRE time to make sure I was in the front due to all the people (and I’ll be doing that again TONIGHT!). I love the Club Kids, I love the Dreamlanders (especially Divine), and I think you are a continuation of all of that “fuck you” fabulousness. When I think of Bebe, Tyra, and Raja; I think of queens who will only be remembered as associated with RuPaul’s Drag Race. Whether or not you win isn’t as important as understanding that you have the potential to outshine the ENTIRE competition and go down in HERSTORY as a queen as big (no pun intended) as Divine. Do you realize just how big you actually are?

  32. Julie Oulie says:

    Sharon Darling,

Hi! I’m a 24 year old girly from Los Angeles, California. I would just like to say that I truly love you! You are an amazing inspiration to me and all us spooky kids who were outcasted in school and our community. Seeing you be true to yourself and turning negative remarks into a powerful joke really hits home to me. You have this uplifting humor that I can relate with! I cannot THANK YOU enough for being real as you are.

Much Love to you and Alaska,
    Ms. Julie Oulie

P.S. I’ll be keeping my eye out for you in WeHo!
    <3 <3 <3

  33. Saraphyn de Sade says:

Us little punk rawk bullied weirdos thank you everywhere for being who you are and never compromising! You really are a true inspiration. I know you’ll win Drag Race if Ru Paul knows what is good for him. Damn the man, save the Needles!
I was just wondering what bands or other musical artists have influenced your style and fierce attitude?

  34. Ernest Edward says:

Sharon Needles- Two things I’ve been dying to ask you. First ? – Are we going to see you in any Horror movies or perhaps you hosting your own show on Logo?! Second ? – If you were to be in any remake of any Horror Movie which movie would it be and why.

Thank you for Haunting RuPauls Drag Race! Mucho Besos (Lots of Kisses) to you and Alaska.

  35. Josey Lords says:

Whats your favorite Lords of Acid song? Also, did you know your ‘stunt’ at the 2010 sextreme ball tour inspired “Long Johns” on the new lords of acid album?

  36. rhonda says:

Sharon, have you ever thought of acting — even as a boy? I think you are tremendously talented in acting and you are very charismatic. In or out of drag, when you are on the screen, you fascinate! Consider an acting career!

  37. Doug Martinez says:

Sharon, would you consider starting an all Gore-Scout Club? lol Seriously, other than your… I just rolled out of a hearse look, What are 5 things you “can’t live without?”

  38. Cristian says:

To Sharon- You’re such an inspiration and i’m so glad that someone as uniquely talented as you are was able to represent for all of the freaks out there. What is your favorite drag look that you’ve worn on Rupaul’s Drag Race, and if you could make up your own challenge for all the drag queens what would it be?

  39. Paul says:

    Dear Sharon,

You are amazing. I am absolutely feeling your style and its similar to mine as a boy and a drag queen. Can we make scary children?

  40. Mystie Monroe says:

Hello Sharon, I’m such a big fan and I want to say that I’m super proud of you and I look up to you!! I’ve noticed a lot of girls from RuPaul’s Drag Race have went on to make songs, I’d love to know what your plans are now (after RDR). I could see you having your own show or on SNL. Would you consider doing any of that? Much Love, Mystie Monroe

  41. Dahlia Antionette says:

    Dear Miss Sharon Needles,

Do you and Alaska ever have sexual encounters while in drag? How has you both being Drag Queens affected your relationship?

  42. Annina says:

    Hello miss Sharon Needles,

First of all I want to say I heard about the 4th season of RDR through my American friend and started to watch the show from internet. In my home country, Finland, they used to show (and think they still do) RDR on tv, but since I moved to Netherlands after the love of my life they’re not showing it here so I have to be peeping thro internet. I’m really happy I got to watch the show before it ended (and can actually be there cheering for you to win!) You have such an awesome personality. I love it. Keep it up!

    But to my actual question:
Has RuPaul’s Drag Race affected you somehow? Maybe even changed you somehow? Did you learn something new about yourself?

    Much love !

  43. Jeffy the Vampire Slayer says:

    Miss Needles,
You have caused my undead heart to beat again. I lost myself a few years back due to an unhealthy relationship, and forfeited all incentive to be creative or even just be myself. Through seeing you on Drag Race and finding out more about you through old youtube videos, facebook, and twitter…I have become inspired. I can honestly say, looking at you is like viewing a mirror, and it has allowed me to see myself once more. I have started painting, writing, and celebrating being alive, because you reminded me of how fun it is, to be a societal freak. Thank you so much for putting yourself in the spotlight, I know it must take a lot of strength and courage and you deserve all the accolades. After all that mushy stuff I must ask something vile in order to keep my street cred so, Boxers or Briefs?

  44. Hey Needles,

Drag Race has done some really positive things for the world of drag. Even as a gay man, I never fully respected the aesthetic of drag until I started watching RuPaul’s Show (and now I love it). As drag becomes more popular within mainstream media, I wonder what types of traditional female roles will be filled by queens instead. What types of film or roles in a film would you love to see represented by drag queens? What would be the BlockBuster (or Red-BoxBuster) Film starring Sharon Needles?

PS – I voted for you to win Season 4 and I hope to meet your awesome face someday.

  45. Miss Needles,

  46. MissUnderstood says:

Sharon Mother Fu*king Needles… you do not need to win RPDR because you are already a winner. I loved that you never compromised yourself or your style to accommodate anyone, especially that Max Munchdick guy. Back in the day when Jane’s Addiction came out with Nothing’s Shocking I find it ironic that people are still shocked by things that seem so normal to me. I feel in love with you from the moment I laid eyes on you and after watching this season Ive come to love you even more. You are genuine and sincere, beautiful, spooky and stupid. You push against the borders that shouldn’t even be there to begin with… it’s fucking drag, it can be whatever you want it to be. You are the past, present and future of drag all combined in to one. I have no question, only admiration for you being true to yourself and putting up with all those bitches. Condragulations on being a star!

  47. Hello Lovely Sharon- I wanted to ask about some concerns you expressed during the show about Alaska and the effect you getting on Drag Race and he NOT getting on Drag Race would have on your relationship. Now that you are home, has your relationship changed? (I hope not, Alaska seems like a doll! Alaska for season 5!)

    Love you, mean it!

  48. BrianP says:

Sharon: My friends and I are such HUGE fans of yours! It’s great to see you expanding into the world of merchandising (of which we’re more than happy to partake in!). Any thought to doing a Sharon Needles doll? Something with spooky couture and accessories? Just saying, we think it could be a big seller. Best of luck!!

  49. Paul Smiley says:

Sharon: How did you develop your makeup style? Did you get help from other queens or just experiment until you got it right?

  50. kenay says:

Independientemente lo que pase… para mi Tu eres la GANADORA de Ra Paul Drag Race , desde el primer dia…. Soy tu fan numero uno!!!!!!! Nada mas por ser diferente…
