The tragic death of actor Cory Monteith presents a huge challenge for the producers of the TV show Glee- how do you write off a character on a comedy show that everyone knows is never coming back?

Today we take a look at how some popular TV shows handled the unexpected deaths of their stars or had to kill off their characters. How the fans react to their favorite stars being written off tv shows.

  1. The Boy Scouts of America take every opportunity to make themselves look like assholes. I don’t doubt that carrying around extra weight makes it hard to do some of the activities endorsed by the Boy Scouts, but it’s terrible for their image to say that fat boys should opt put of the scouts. Instead of reinforcing the problem for these fat kids, they could make getting these boys healthy as part of their mission.

I was a chubby kid AND I was in the Scouts. I had a blast each summer, and my mom still has the lopsided baskets and stools to prove it. I quit at about 12 to focus on other stuff, however if I had known pitching tents and pole vaulting were staples, I would have stuck around longer 🙂
