Cox Comm was just as bad when I disconnected my cable a few years ago. They don’t want to know why; they want to stop you from leaving, and the mandate has come down from on high to do whatever it takes to keep you. It translates into bullying, sub-human behavior.
Leaving Comcast for RCN was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Never looked back. I’m so thankful that I live in a city where I have a choice in “high speed” (not fast by global standards) internet service.
