Okay, so I know you guys don’t have regulars anymore, but Ronnie should pop by frequently. He can come naked but a pair of boxers and you guys should tape the entire seance…

Ha ha Jonas, I was thinking the same thing. I love me some him x x x

“why not (sing about girls)?” um because 99% of pop music is already gender hetero specific and what we CRAVE from out Gay artists is something that unambiguously speaks directly to us as a queer audience. At least give us gender neutrality so it can interpreted by anyone. The last thing we want or need is Gay artists whose songs speak to hetero experiences.
I love Ronnie, he was one of my personal favorite Gay men on a reality series precisely because he was so fearlessly unambiguously gay. This feels a little like a step backwards, especially when he then follows up that he was thinking about a Gay relationship when he wrote the songs. Why is is that only Gays are asked to sacrifice our authenticity in order to not alienate the broad audience, while hetero artists almost never take into account their significant audience of queers with disposable income to purchase music.
What was this about the Texas mom changing her view on gay men? I wanna hear more on this.
