On stage, openly gay comedian Adam Guerino performs his comedy about his romantic life and people’s anxieties about sex in front of mostly straight audiences.

Adam even says he’s usually the first gay man many straight guys meet and that after he performs he’s often approached by guys who feel compelled to say “sorry guy, I’m not gay.”

Why do straight men feel compelled to apologize for their heterosexuality when there’s not a sexual connection?

On today show we take a look at the gap that exists between all of us when it comes to sexual orientation- the common misconceptions straight guys have, awkwardness in public bathrooms and celebrities whose real life sexual antics are so outrageous, people have a hard time believing it’s true.

Hunters, a gay bar in the suburbs of Chicago, implemented a new rule that customers must show ID that matches their “gender representation” in an effort to reduce prostitution at the bar. As RuPaul says, “we all get up in the mooring and everything we put on after that is drag,” but what’s a suburban tranny to do if her real ID doesn’t match her drag?
