Have the lesbians stopped screaming Clarice? After all these years, we finally realize what Jodie Foster was trying to say in the movie Nell. “Hay may chick a pay!” She was struggling to say, “I’m […]

  1. So far, Marc has said he would sit on a cake, and tell us who he made cry when Fausto wins the Gay Bloggies… I’m looking forward to the cake sitting more than who he made cry though it seems Fausto wanted so much to tell us today who Marc made cry.

Weren’t hairless cats a genetic modification as well? I always thought they were.

  2. Yes, Marc will owe the fans big time if (and that’s a pretty big IF) I make it to win the top prize! The competition is FIERCE here.

  3. Barbara says:

It is about time for Jodie Foster to come out. Her lover is only 2 years younger than me.

  4. Cliff Dix says:

I always loved Candleshoe as a kid. I wanted to be Jodi Foster in that movie. She was so smart and tough and she was rich at the end.
I can not wait to see Marc splosh that cake. I know it is going to happen. Fausto is the best but he needs all our help by giving him the thumbs up.

  5. PupDon says:

You failed lolcatspeak!!! If the cat ate the non-fearing mouse it would go “nom nom nom”. 😛

I love you guys. Excellent show once again. And I love the bonus podcasts on the blogger site. Best of luck, Fausto. 🙂

  6. WOW that’s awesome footage of a lamb-swipe. That looks like a Golden Eagle. They are HUGE and eagles definitely eat little lambs, kids, and fawns. At the National Aviary here in Pittsburgh there are Stellar’s Sea Eagles and they’re so damn big. I bet they could carry off a child with ease.

  7. Maia says:

I’ve had a crush on Jodie Foster since I saw Candleshoe… glad to hear that she finally acknowledged her partner publicly. About time. If I were Cydney, I’d be pretty fed up by now!

    Even better than lamb-swiping: lapdog-swiping.
One summer when I was a kid, there was a story in the paper of this retired couple who were RV’ing through Alaska, and while they were stopping to fill up their gas tank, a bald eagle swooped down and took off with their chihuahua! The husband saw the whole thing happen, and his response was basically, “Oh well, I always hated that dog anyway.”

  8. Rhea says:

Whaaa? My name was not just mentioned once or twice, but thrice?! W00T!

I want to see Fausto win because the other two contestants, in my opinion, are just bland blogger clones of each other. For a nanosecond I thought that Fausto was in the final two, but alas, he isn’t, he’s in the final *three* with this other guy and his clone. The battle continues, FOF Army! Vote for the guy with sabor!

A Gay Bloggies Win for Fausto = a new Mac for the FOF = more podcasts = sexy results (Marc! Sitting! On! A! Cake!)

  9. Sexy Results indeed! Definitely give the the other bloggers the thumbs down but don’t diss them too hard ok. Please don’t be haters. We invited them on the show after this is all over and want them to feel welcome as anyone else. They might not get the $2500 grand prize but they will be heard by all you lovely folks which is worth lots. I really can’t wait to talk to Bryanboy, Frank and Craig. Start thinking of questions to ask them.

  10. Rhea says:

    Hi Marc,

My overzealousness comes from seeing some of the mean stuff written about you guys, particularly when one blogger (who has since been eliminated) was encouraging others to gang up on Fausto, and it was starting to *really* bug me. I suppose seeing all that hating had prompted me to write a post where my claws came out, which only leads to more venom-spewing, and who needs to read about that?

    Anyhoo.

I have read the other contestant’s blogs, and Bryanboy’s is absolutely hilarious! I have a slew of questions to ask him should he come on your show.

    Cheers!

  11. Joe P says:

I wasn’t a big fan of “Nell” at all. It was hard for me to take: the gibberish was kind of annoying. And I don’t understand why Liam Nielsen had to get naked in the movie, also. I think you forgot to mention what I think the best Jodi Foster movie is, “The Silence of the Lambs.” I think it is the best thriller movie with a dashing of horror that I have ever seen.

Getting so excited about the Gay Bloggies! Not only am I looking forward to Marc sitting on a cake, but I can’t wait to hear what celebrity he made cry. We have to make sure Fausto wins!

    P.S. I think I’m addicted to using “w00t” now. W00T W00T!

  12. Sorry Fausto gets bad comments from Europe! I’m sure Scandinavia loves you though :–D

  13. I’m concerned about all of this “If Fausto Wins”…Come on…He’s going to win, it’s not an if. I for one am really looking forward to Fausto winning, Marc sitting on a cake and telling us what celebrity he made cry. As for having the other contestants on there, that is a really nice thing to do and I’m sure we can come up with some questions for them.

Though, I am a little concerned about glow in the dark animals, I mean really…who wants to wake up in the middle of the night, and look in the corner and see something that glows, moving around of it’s on accord. CrEePy.

Just an FYI, I totally had my Mom in the car with me while I was listening to the show and I had several moments when I got to see her face turning bright red from the conversation you were having. It was great, definitely worth it!

Loved the show, VoTe 4 FaUsTo!

  14. Joe P says:

I agree with you, NotAnAngel79. I can’t imagine my cats being glow-in-the-dark. They jump on my bed at night and wake me up sometimes, and if I saw something crawling to me in the middle of the night it would freak me out. I can’t image how much it would cost to get a genetically engineered pet. Not only that, playing with their genes probably would reduce their life span.

Weren’t the monkeys in the movie “28 Days” genetically engineered to be agressive but it ended up creating a disease that almost eradicted mankind? I’m afraid some kind of “Oops!” could happen if we keep trying to play with genetics with animals or humans.

  15. Supposedly nature plays with both human and animal genes constantly – I actually think recent research showed that humans were evolving on a much larger scale than previously believed. Regionally we’re genetically moving apart – and quite rapidly too.

I would love to adopt a glow-in-the-dark kitten. It could be the light of my life.

  16. As a kid, I really enjoyed Freaky Friday, Candleshoe and Bad News Bears.

As an adult, I really enjoyed Silence of the Lambs, Contact and Anna and the King.

But it wasn’t until I checked out IMDB that I found out she was also a voice actor for one of my favorite “classic” Saturday morning cartoons, “The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan!”

  17. glad to be able to comment again thanks for fixing my problem. This was a great show and I am glad that Jodie officaly came out.
