Looks like our departed senator Kennedy left the spot open…. for GOP statesman Scott Brown to take the seat. Looks like Dems only have 59 votes in the senate now. I am sure the insurance […]

Yep, we’re buggered. But lets face it, the watered down piece of crap that the Dems FINALLY pushed through is barely a shadow of what was originally intended. Now we won’t even get that. Just further evidence that the nation is ruled by Fox News and good little lemmings who jump when Bill O’Reilley or Sean Hannity tells them to.
The dems are thinking about trying to push the bill through before Brown is seated. I personally think that would buy Obama a one way ticket to one term-ville. The American people need to be able to trust their leaders…. at least a little. An underhanded trick like rushing the bill before it has a chance to be fillibustered into oblivion would just piss people off. I don’t want to say we’ve lost this one but I think it’s time for the the Democrats to sit back and realize that they aren’t America’s favorites anymore.
Let’s be realistic. The Dems in Mass may not be the faves right now, but who else is hopping in bed with the Republicans?
But the question is, will the Democrats be in favor this November?
I’m personally really annoyed with MA right now. This guy is a teabagger! And every interview I’ve seen of him he spews contemptable ideas. But somehow they voted for him because he drives a pick-up? Still as a gay man, I do have to say he is hot. I hate it when hot men are such narrow minded bigots!
As for the democrats, they’ve pretty much brought this on themselves. They’ve had 6 1/2 months to come up with something that isn’t a watered down version of progress and they’ve done nothing. Held up by a few democrats wishing to water down the bill and add their own special interest they’ve managed to do nothing but make the voters wonder what’s the point of having a 60 vote majority.
Now the Republicans are the worse lot however. They’ve nothing for the past year in terms of producing a reasonable solution, contributing a single idea or even involving themselves in the business of governing in order to make the Dems look bad. They have are obstructionist, naysayers and at times out right liars! And the sad part is that it appears their strategy is working.
