If I had to guess, I’d say some slime-ball lobbyist trying to keep DADT in place probably dredged up some dirt on Ol’ Cindy. An old lesbian flame, perhaps?
I’m so sad to see the community make so many excuses for Cindy McCain over this. Everyone is speculating about what forced poor Cindy to backtrack. Everyone assumes she actually does love us, and some mean mean man must have made her back off. What if all the ASSUMPTIONS are wrong, though? What if her real opinion is the latter and not the former?
Why are we apologizing for her? We don’t owe her that at all. Instead of scrambling to try to solve our cognitive dissonance for our beloved GOP ally, how about holding her accountable for her two-faced treachery instead?
I don’t understand this. Isn’t she the one with the money? I mean…really? She’s rich. He’s not. She’s young(-ish-er). He’s not. She’s cute. He’s not. Her arms work…… She’s the one with the power in the relationship. Why did she cave to him? Her tweet is a complete contradiction…..the kind of contradiction that only a republican gay would believe or try to stand behind. Well, maybe that’s why. She’s surrounded by gays who would believe this crap.
I think she did the “No H8” for the same shameful reasons that too many put forth “It get’s better”, which is to exploit a popular movement for her own benefit.
