He missed a second hypocrisy. The Fox News argument is that the Norwegian is not Christian simply because he calls himself that. The implication is that he must follow the tenets of the faith to be Christian, no matter what he claims. Fox News anchors and right-wing politicos also advertise their Christiness to anyone who’ll listen.
The hypocrisy? Jesus’ most Cardinal commands were 1) LOVE your neighbor no matter who he/she is as you love Jesus. 2) Give everything you have away to the poor, and take care of the poor. Do Fox News and right-wing politicos “love their neighbors”? – – Uh, Hell no. Are Fox News and right-wing politicos rich? – – Uh, HELL YES! Have they given up their time, money, and advocacy to take care of the poor? – – FUCK NO, Never have, Never will!!
Therefore…..They themselves are not Christians according to their own opportunistic logic.
It also not only about relgiion. Right-wing news nationals cannot stand the fact that he is white and right-wing. They don’t know how to deal with the fact that a white, right-wing Christian can also be a terroist.
