Fausto Fernós is the host of iTunes’ #1 LGBT talk show, the Feast of Fun podcast, which he produces and hosts with his partner, Marc Felion.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Fausto Fernós created the Feast of Fools in 1998 as wacky artists variety show in Chicago, Illinois. Feast of Fun grew out of an audio blog to promote the live show into the world’s most downloaded talk show aimed for gay people.
When he’s not blogging, recording or sleeping, Fausto can be found at the gym or appreciating the beauty found in nature.

When I was a teen way back in the 80’s before Tivo and before we had a VCR. I would look in the TV guide for any R-rated movie with nudity in the description i.e Blue Lagoon. Set my alarm clock, get up, sneak in the living room, disconnect the cable box, sneak back to my room, hook it up to my little TV, and enjoy my nude Christopher Atkins. I would have my favorites like Blue Lagoon, Endless Love, Midnight Express, or American Gigolo. I eventually made notes to exactly when the nudity occured like 35 minutes in and readjust my alarm clock. That was my porn growing up. Kids got it easy today. Porn everywhere.
PS Fausto, sorry you didn’t like the lip balm but we figured you could drink out of the Wonder Woman mug will watching your WW DVDs.
I have to say I really REALLY liked the WW mug! I’m drinking from it right now.

If you comment every day for a month, Fausto will worship you. It’s a little-known secret, but Fausto’s biggest pet peeve is when people who have an opinion about the show don’t comment. These comments are what shows how popular the show is on the front page and they also encourage celebrities to come on the show. 🙂 I say GO FOR IT!! Maybe even collection sponsorship donations for your Comment-a-Thon! 😉
The number one reason the government doesn’t tell us about aliens is because they have infinite supplies of renewable energy and they would ruin the fossil fuel industry. Even though GWB would tell us that the aliens hate our freedom, the reality is that they know how to turn oxygen into fuel. 😉
Welcome back Marc, and I feel the same way about you visiting the vodka palace (of sorts)! There are too many things to do here in the city, and who would DAAAARRE cross that bridge if given the choice. Who would! If you want to try tastings, try it in the city, do wine at Vino Venue.

Cliff, I really admire how industrious you were as a kid, getting up in the wee hours to steal the cable box! We didn’t have cable… But I used to sneak my mom’s cheesy victorian romance novels and flip through them. I had a knack for finding the steamy parts. Oh man… I am just now realizing that it’s probably because the spine was broken in those places, from frequent reading… ew!

What many bloggers and internet people don’t realize is that by commenting on the blogs/sites you regularly visit, you draw attention to what you’re up to (your own blog, videos or podcasts) and help ensure the continuation of the sites you like.
That’s why I always say when you hate something (like Dr. Laura) sometimes the best approach is to not give them any attention.

I think my favorite theory about where aliens come from is this: they’re just humans from a dystopian future where everyone’s been so mutated and destroyed by technology that they can’t reproduce, so they’re using time travel to visit the ancient past (us!) They just want to figure out how our bodies used to be so they can fix the mess our species has made and save us from dying out. Hence all the anal probing.
Who cares if it’s true or not, it’s a heck of a story!

I have always wondered about UFO’s, growing up in a rural area for most of my life – weird lights in the sky always turn into the talk of the town. Living in the city, it is difficult to see the sky at night. Therefore, maybe it is true. the world IS full of “odd” people, there just might be an explanation. I’ve come across in my day! I just have not yet ran into anyone who smiles like “alien”, until i do – i’ll be sure to keep an eye out!

FOF is my new morning routine, nothing gets done until I have coffee and listen to the show.
I was recently talking-up the show to a friend of mine, and was surpised to hear that he also listens to it while at work. When we see each other out at the bar, we have our FOF recap.

Marc, I’m so glad you’re back and feeling well again! As someone who used to get strep throat on a fairly regular basis (until I got my tonsils removed a few years ago), I know very well what you were going through. 🙁
Fausto, when I was a kid I was fortunate enough to have a VCR and a TV in my bedroom. You might say I was spoiled, but I essentially got my dad’s hand-me-down VCRs when he bought newer and better ones, and my TV was an ancient monster box with a manual dial. 🙂 I used to search the channels for movies of hot guys with their shirt off and record them and watch them over and over and over. I also used to sneak into the basement and go through my dad’s old Playboy and Penthouse magazines to find stories and pictures. Surprisingly there was a lot of gay– or bi– content in the early 80s, especially in Penthouse. *sigh*… life was so innocent back then. 🙂
I’m with jeffo336 – we are so fortunate to have Steven twice! I was so excited during the opening of this show when they said he was going to be on. I absolutely love listening to Steven. And it’s also great to have Marc back!!
