I love old school rap music. Who can’t forget the intense work of Run DMC, Grandmaster Flash or Salt-n-Pepa? I’ll always have a HUGE place in my heart for the quirky beatboxing of the Fat […]

  1. Michael says:

Great show guys…I’m not a Hip Hop/Rap fan but I think that I may be leaning that way after Johnny D’s appearance last month and todays show….

    Loved the performances….

Great comparison for Prop 8 and us “destroying the sanctity of Marriage” isn’t divorce already doing that? I think that we should try to pass a Proposition to BAN DIVORCE. You choose to get married, you’ve got to STAY married!

It’s very unfair that you guys got a chance to sit there an ogle QBoys business and not share with us….come on, not fair at all.

  2. J-Public says:

About the circumcisions… its also better for hygiene purposes… for those that are lazy… unfortunately I’d dont have the option of spending the extra time… thanks mom and dad!

    🙁

  3. It’s not really a bid deal about circumcisions. I mean, there are some lazy people who don’t clean their foreskin but there are also some lazy people who are circumcised and also don’t clean themselves as well.

    Great show, guys.

  4. Next time you’re in Chicago, QBoy…call me.

  5. Hey FoF. Here is a link for people to follow. http://jointheimpact.com/ This is a nationwide protest this Saturday, Nov 15th, at 1:30 EST/10:30 PST, to show the support for our GLBT community in CA. Let’s show our support!!

  6. Mikey Dee says:

Qboy is hot…but his rap is weak. sorry…this show was bust.

  7. Superboy says:

Don’t be hatin’! QBoy is the shizzle.

  8. hot. damn. just listening to QBoy and Johnny talk is ORGASMIC!

  9. Rhea says:

I liked hearing about how Q-boy is giving back to the community by sharing his talent– something we should aspire to do.

    Rule, Britannia!

  10. garycuk says:

Woop Woop! London forever! One of my fellow people’s, def gonna check out the album x x x

  11. Glad you like the show guys, although secretly I wanted a rap-off between QBoy and Johnny Dangerous. That could be fun, or it could end in tears.

  12. SAL-E says:

I was supposed to be in his Music Video that was being filmed this past Sunday but I was doing my Sister things over at Circuit for The Annual Mr. International Rubber Contest….I did send JOJO over to represent the Sisters in Johnny Dangerous video. Look for the Sister in the video. Love ya

  13. Qboy is hot! I usually do not listen to Hip Hop but I enjoyed his performance. I like he is singing mainly about positive things!

I also agree 100% what Qboy said about circumcision.

  14. CT says:

Loved QBoy, his speaking voice was hot and he seems like an intelligent man. Brits just seem to articulate themselves so well! But I agree with Mikey Dee, his rap is pretty weak. I actually think Johnny Dangerous is better. Though ‘Dickhead’ remix was actually pretty hot, his own music is alright. Great show though!

  15. GusGus says:

I thought QBoy was great!!! I just loved his accent. I am not a fan of his music genre, but I actually enjoyed some of it and I liked the way he views certain things in life. BTW, congratulations you guys on your podcast award. I voted as much as I could. I hope you guys get the big prize in December.

  16. I am listening to the show now… it took me about 2 minutes to realize that Qboy had a British accent. It wasn’t until he said battle that I got it lol… not quick on the uptake today. Good times.

  17. It’s nice to hear a foreign accent on the show.

  18. I really appreciated Q-boys awareness and relaying of the history of the culture of hip-hop and rap. I also loved his positive message and stance and his authenticity. It’s absolutely delightful the way the kids in London interpret stuff like hip-hop. It’s very fresh and insipring. I wonder if Q-boy has seen the PBS doco Hip Hop Beyond the Beats and Rhymes. It talks about what he mentioned about the labels being acquired in the 90’s and being used to perpetuate their own BIRTH OF A NATION with the mythological dangerous black male.

    Fantastic show. Thank you!

  19. Really enjoyed the energy of show. Wished I knew sooner about Johnny and Q-Boy’s performance together. Q-Boy can “Push It” up my caboose anyday.

  20. Peter Snead says:

    Love the show

Qboy is so hot I want to die 🙂

  21. RicoPablo says:

I agree with QBoy– “Dallas” is the best show ever made!

  22. Will says:

I loved this show. I generally do not like rap music but Q-boy did a great job. It is cool when yall do the live music on the show. Thank boys.

  23. I love these shows where you bring in artists to your studio/living room and have them perform live. If you ever put together a DVD of all the shows with musician interviews and live performances, I would be the first one in line to buy a copy.

Don’t stop with the informative shows — like the tunnel of love. But you could warm my heart by doing more shows with these great musicians.

And to Mikey Dee — just because you don’t like Q-Boy’s style, doesn’t mean that the show was a bust. Even without his singing, his political perspectives were different enough from the mainstream. It’s nice to get opinions from across the pond.

Thanks Mark and Fausto for all your hard work. Love you guys.

  24. Tallguy says:

This was a good show. I have enjoyed Qboys music for awhile now and it was good to hear you two interview him.
