  1. Love it! My encylopedic knowledge of all things Horror (along with all my books about horror and exploitation) made this p-cast wonderful for me! Thanks to all of ya for doing your homework. Happy to announce that I have seen all of the films / tv specials mentioned (and TONS more). One thing I would challenge your listeners to do (if you are looking for movies this Halloween and wanna retro feel), You Tube carries TONS of “Movie Of The Week (MOTW)” from the late sixties/early 70’s, including Karen Black in ‘Trilogy of Terror’, ‘The House on Greenapple Road,’ ‘Devil Dog and the Hounds of Hell,’ ‘Devil’s Daughter (shelley winters!), ‘CrowHaven Farm’ (one of my faves) ‘Satan’s School for Girls’ the original! — i could go on and on!

  2. Hocus Pocus was MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER!!!!!! I would watch it over and over when I was a kid and I had a crush on the guy in the movie. So glad you brought it up. I’ll probably watch it before Halloween.

  3. As always, I had a BLAST being on the show and I only hope this podcast helps bolster the struggling Felching Straw industry.

50 Shades of Halloween sounds like it will be fun ^_^ Looking forward to it.

  5. awh man I loved Hocus Pocus as a kid. Watched it so many times. I haven’t seen it in a long time, and I know it’s a awful movie, but I think I could still enjoy watching it now because of the nostalgia factor. I had a lot of good childhood memories of watching it.

unfortunately for me I haven’t done anything to celebrate Halloween in many years since I have no one to celebrate it with, and celebrating Halloween alone is just boring and lame.

Does the Peaches Christ mask come with a microchip or a piece of Stonehenge imbedded in it? http://store.peacheschrist.com/products/105-peaches-costume-mask.aspx

Have added Trick R’ Treat to my queue, cheers Peaches! Not sure about Trick OR Treat, I’ve watched quite a few bad movies lately, more even than I usually do!

Attempting my third Halloween in New Zealand. It’s still kind of a new thing here; a lot of people are suspicious of its “American”ness, and a lot of kids don’t bother dressing up before going door to door, which DOES make it just begging for candy, sorry kids. 😛

  8. Billy Pilgrim says:

The thing about Halloween III: Season Of The Witch is when John Carpenter made Halloween, his intention was never to make a series about Michael Myers, it was to do different horror stories, but set on Halloween. So when it got popular and there was a demand for a sequel he let them do another, but with the requirement that he were to die so there would be no more. Which is why the 2nd movie is more awkward. He then decided to go with his original idea for the 3rd and thus Season Of The Witch. The production of Halloween 3 I would say feels more like a Carpenter film, but also features a lot of elements that feel similar to UK horror films. I like it a lot.
