  1. Victoria has the best laugh in podcasting.

  2. Xavi says:

pedantic xavier strikes again: clinton, not obama, was the first to issue a presidential proclamation for pride. I don’t know how I remember that. I wasn’t living in the US at the time.

back to your normally scheduled comment: victoria, what a treat! come back more often!

  3. HatM says:

That Jonas Brothers video is so lousy!
    Who are they anyway?
    Now I see, they sing.
It shows how pathetic untalented made groups can be.

  4. input your comment here…hello every one i hope you enjoyed the video
i cant wait to go to fausto mark party for the 1000 show
thank you JASON , YOU ALL HAVE SUCH KIND WORDS .

  5. RcktMan says:

OMG I was laughing like a hyena throughout this show – the George Washington Carver voice was MY FAVORITE. We need to do a show with George Washington Carver and Miss Piggy sometime.

This show was like a warm blanket on a cold day — kind of like today. It felt like the old days. It’s so great to have Victoria back in town!!! More V-Marr!!!!!!!! 馃檪

So I watched the Jonas Brothers vid, and I agree with Marc that the Single Ladies thing is WAY tired. I mean, if he’d have done it maybe 6 months earlier, it would have been more effective. And he didn’t do that great of a job either. Eh. Nice try though. At least he looked pretty sweet in that leotard and heels. Mmmhummmm.

  6. Couldn’t he at least watched the video FIRST? Traditional media loses this round. Winner, Angel Pariz! I love it when openly gay boys dance to Beyonce:

  7. input your comment here…that some hot mama

Call me- we're trying to figure out weather to keep disqus or not. Right now it doesn't let you post code (like flickr pictures, and youtube videos) which is a HUGE bummer. WHY GOD WHY???

  12. There is something totally captivating about Victoria, her image, her voice, her wonderful stories. I especially enjoyed hearing about her mom and the young men who hang around the SRO’s. Quite a vivid image. Thanks for having her on!

  13. Two words for you Tricky – “Tranny Chaser”

  14. Adrian says:

I always like your podcast until this episode “aired”.
Let me just say a few things:
    1. “Pin” might mean penis in Vietnamese, not in THE Asian language. Please note that unlike USA, Asia is full of cultural diversities and languages. One of the languages is Vietnamese.
    2. Please get your fact right about why Chinese ancestors consume ‘penis’ before calling Chinese as crazy. They are only as sane or insane as you are.
    3. I have live in China for years but never heard of people eating chicken bitten by snake to cure sickness, let alone banning it. Don’t always believe American news media, most of them are just bullshit, especially Fox News.
    4. Be a bitch, it’s funny. Don’t be a racist.

    • Touchy! — breathe baby breathe. I hope you hold the Chinese Internet Information Center to the same standards as you hold us. Asian news items featuring bans on unusual dishes like this happen all the time. Better go vegan!

Here’s a story from 2007 where the Chinese gov’t banned cat snake food, better known as “dragon duels with tiger”
      http://www.china.org.cn/health/2007-11/07/content_1231097.htm

      • Adrian Arquette says:

Breath breath breath. Yeah. Much better.
My point is just that don’t be racist. Don’t use “Those Chinese are crazy” kind of comment. Why make yourself as degrading as the Chinese government? Did Chinese offend you or your relative or your ancestors? Racist comments are simply not the best for the ears.

      • Sorry, you right. I don’t want to be like the Chinese government. I shouldn’t have called Chinese crazy for their peculiar eating habits. So, now what do I do with the thousands of political prisoner in my basement?

      • Breathe Adrian breathe!

I hope I’m understanding your perspective here. Let me try to explain where I’m coming from. I use the word “crazy” a lot, in reference to over-the-top behavior that seems unusual or even strange. I use this word on myself and people everywhere.

From my perspective, here’s what I think may be happening. Because the news from China can be censored or punished when it talks about the serious stuff like politics and culture, it tends to focus on the more unusual slice of life, the beautifully strange. So instead of hearing about a corrupt politician, we hear about a lady who breast-feeds a tiger.

A lot of my favorite news items come from China, and maybe that’s what is happening here. You are accusing me of hating on Chinese people, which I’m not hating, I’m celebrating. I think we both agree that some of the news items from that part of the world can be a little outlandish, like a cat or a fish that learn to speak their names. (Remember Augi, the talking Chinese cat?)

Do other parts of the world have over the top news? Absolutely. But in country where there is a large, vibrant, active population, and the government cracks down on political/cultural news, I see this happening. That’s why so much wild news comes from Russia as well. I hope you understand where I’m coming from here and in no ways do I mean to be disrespectful, just playful.

I certainly hope that this is a conversation we’ll have here and I hope that you’re willing to have it with me!

  15. Dear Adrian-
    1. Duh. It’s a joke.
    2. What’s the facts, oh enlightened one? Eating dick is funny. I have many dick eating stories from other cultures I will share with you.
    3. We report on unusual news. I hardly believe all of it is real, but for a culture that’s eats a lot of strange things to Westerners, a snake bit chicken doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibilities.
    4. Don’t be a name caller. We never meant to imply that Asians were inferior because they liked to chew rubbery flavorless cock. It’s part of their culture just like how we eat hot dogs, which is mostly cow dick anyway.

  16. Renata T. says:

Hey Guys! Thanks for the shout out! I’m soooo far behind the FOF podcast. I have to update myself. When are you going to visit Brazil? uhuull!

  17. Very cool response Fausto. As a person of mixed asian heritage who appears Latino I am privvy to the predjiduce many feel towards asians and of course this makes me and others like me hypersensitive. I very much appreciate you being open to having this discussion.
